Isaiah 64:8
But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.
Good morning, great and mighty God. Thank You Father Lord for waking up again today, the world You created. Thank You Father in Jesus name. Amen.
When I think of the kindness, love, and care, that God bestows on man, I marvel. This is The God who has our life in His hand and in a moment can terminate it. Despite this love which mankind most often take for granted, He keeps on sustaining and preserving us.
In our text above, God tells us that He our Father is the Potter and we His clay.
You know what that means?
WE ARE AT HIS MERCY!
In Jeremaiah 18vs1, God sent Jeremaiah the Prophet to the Potter's house. When he got there, he met the Potter making a pot in a wheel. As he watched, he saw that when the pot he was making didn't turn out the way he wanted, he changed it into another design,.
God told Jeremaiah that, that is how we are in his hands and can mould, remould and do with us as He chooses. The Potter that Jeremaiah visited, didn't consult or seek the permission of the clay to change it to something else.
As the clay was at the mercy of the earthly Potter, even so you and I are at the mercy of the Sovereign God who does as He pleases with us humans. Infact, He created us for His pleasure.
Revelation 4vs11.
Thas same loyalty and dependence is what God expects from us human. If only we are not rebellious and stiff necked, always wanting to do things out of the will and control of God, life would have been better for us.
Let us learn to stay in the will of God, and under His control because He has the first and last say over our lives
God desires us to be totally yielded and surrendered to Him in obedience because only He knows the way through the wilderness, all we need to do is just to follow Him.
Do so now or rededicate your life to Him. Confess, forsake, Repent of all your sins so you can be washed in the Blood of Jesus, and be cleansed of all your unrighteousness, so you can be recognised in heaven and your name written in The Book of Life. After this, you are empowered to become a child of God.

MEMORY VERSE
Jeremiah 18:5-6
Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.
PRAYERS
Father Lord, help me to stay connected deeply to You at all times so I can be refreshed with all I need for life in Jesus name. Amen.
