JESUS IS THE ROCK

Isaiah 51:1 

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

Lord, You deserve all the glory and the honour, 

As I lift my voice in praise of Your holy name. 

You are great. 

You do miracles so great. 

There's no one else like You.

There's no one else like You.

We are reminded in today's Bible verse of Hebrews 12vs2. There the word of God says that we should look unto Jesus, The Authour and The Finisher of our faith.

In our Bible text for today above, God says that in all we do, and no matter where we are, or our position in life, let us not forget the Rock from where, we who follow after righteousness or who are called Believers, are hewned and the Quarry from where we were digged.

All mankind the world over are from the same Source- God. We are all created by God but came into the world through our various parents. Adam and Eve his wife were the only ones who came into this world as adults.

Situation happened to Adam and Eve, which we have talked about severally in some of our previous posts. In summary, Adam messed up the 1st world and man fell, died spiritually, lost God's glory on them, and were separated from God.

Jesus the 2nd Adam came and restored the lost glory and reconciled man to God. He saved man.

This time around, it is only those who believe the price that Jesus paid to restore man and confess Him with their mouth as Saviour that are sons/daughters of God, and become His.

John 1vs12.

There is Salvation in no other name whereby men can be saved except the name of Jesus.

My witness is in Acts 4vs12.

Jesus is the One who paid the supreme price for man's redemption. DON'T EVER FORGET THAT.

Knowing who He is, He told us that we must be connected to Him because without Him we can do nothing.

John 15vs5.

JESUS IS THE ROCK FROM WHERE I WAS HEWNED. I don't know about you.

He is the One who paid the debt of sin you and I committed hence God gave Him the name above all names, and that at the mention of the name of Jesus, every knee in heaven, on earth and under the earth must bow.

Phillipians 2vs9-11.

Beloved, there is no controversy, if you must live for God, serve Him in righteousness and make it back to Him, because He is our Source or The Quarry from where we were digged, we MUST accept and believe in the Rock - JESUS, from who we got our new nature. 

Let me summarise with this.

John 14:6 

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

If you must live a fruitful life here on earth and in the hereafter, and see God in glory, don't forget the Lord Jesus, hold, cleave and cling unto Him in faith so He will help you all through till you see God in glory.

This journey to true Salvation begins with total surrender, or constant rededication of oneself to Him.

Do so now by confessing, forsaking, and repenting from all unrighteousness, so you can be washed in the Blood of the Lamb, thereafter, your name will be written in the Book of life. When saved, you are equiped and empowered to follow and serve God in the way that will make you finish well and finish strong in Jesus name. Amen.

God alone is my Source of health, love, peace, joy and strength.

MEMORY VERSE

Philippians 2:10-11

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

PRAYERS

Heavenly Father, please help me not to derail on this race of Salvation in Jesus name. Amen
