KEEP THE BODY HOLY

Romans 12:1  

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Apostle Paul in our Bible verse above was admonishing the brethren that now that they have been redeemed by the Blood of Jesus, they were to use every part of their body in rendering services to God who paid the utmost price for their redemption.

Romans 6vs13, corroborates Romans 12vs1, which clearly admonishes the Believer to use every member of their bodies for God and keep them free from sin.

This means, use your eyes to see and look at only what God approves. Our legs, hands, voice, and so on and so forth should be used only for what pleases God and brings Him glory. We should not engage members of our bodies in sinful acts, eg, you can't be cursing and sweraing with same mouth you pray to God and sing praise to Him, or watch dirty films with your eyes. 

See, the body does not belong to you but to God. Keep it holy for God.

So everyday upon waking up, a Believer should in prayer dedicate all parts of the body to God and say things like, my head, eyes, ears, mouth legs, hands mind etc belong to You Oh Lord, use each of them as it pleases You. They are all Yours. They all belong to You.

We should intentionally give up all parts of our bodies to God for His use. Being so therefore, we should keep all members of our body holy and acceptable to God. As Balievers we must take utmost care of our bodies because the body houses The Spirit of God and The Soul on the inside of us. All parts of the body needs to be healthy, in good condition and ƁE FREE FROM SIN, to be used to please God. 

My beloved, God does not use dirty Vessels. He is too holy to behold sin.

The intentional care of all members of our bodies, lead to a gradual process of the transformation of the life of a Believer.

The journey to present our bodies holy unto God starts with being born again. That is to be washed by the Blood of Jesus, repenting totally, and asking for the forgiveness of all sins and pleading for God's mercy. 

Do so now if you are not already surrendered.

God alone is my Source of health, life, peace, joy, and strength.

MEMORY VERSE

Romans 6:13 

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

PRAYERS

My Father and my God, please help me to live a life of sacrifice unto the most high God that will make my body acceptable unto Him, in Jesus name.
