Luke 2:8-12
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Glory be to God that you and I are listed among the living today. Thank You Father Lord for this massive love. We do not take it for granted at all in Jesus name. Amen.
From the passage above, we understand that immediately Jesus was born, cleaned up, wrapped in swaddling clothes, and laid in the manger, an Angel appeared to Shepherds who watched over their flocks by night who weŕe sitting nearby.
As soon as the Angel appeared, there was brightness everywhere and God's glory shone around and the Shepherds were very afraid. The Angel told them to fear not, for he came with the good news of the birth of Jesus the Saviour of the world. He told them where they will find the new born child and the parents.
As soon as this announcement was made by the Angel, suddenly multitudes of Angels appeared from heaven praising and giving glory to God for this great event.
When the Angels were done glorifying God, they all left and returned back to heaven. When the Angels had gone, the Shepherds rushed immediately to Bethlehem to where the Angel told to confirm what they told and there, they found Mary, Joseph and the new born child Jesus lying in a manger.
They left there with great joy and began to publicise what they saw and heard from the Angels, all over Judea and as the news spread, many came to also see what they have heard.
Beloved, If this is not worthy of great celebration the world over I dont know what else can be this celebrated.
This is why Christians all over the universe are encouraged at this time to show and share love to all and every where especially with evangelism and soul winning. Let people know in your own little way who Jesus is and why He was born.
Remember, knowledge is power.
Christians do this in merry making, singing Christmas carols and in giving praises to God, sharing gifts in love with the message of Sslvation, so that many will hear, know, and come to the true knowledge of Christ Jesus. This will make many come out of darkness, and embrace God's marvellous Light so that eternity with God in the hereafter will be our portion when we are finally called home at good old age in Jesus name.
God alone is my Source of health and strength.

Abba Father, may my family and I be divinely located for miracles, signs, and wonders, this season in Jesus name. Amen.
