Hebrews 10:38
[38] Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Thank God it's another beautiful and bright Sunday. Glory be to God that you and I are alive today and we'll. Father Lord, to You alone be all the glory, honour, and adoration, in Jesus name.
Beloved, the core of our Bible text above for today is Faith. It reminds us that Faith is needful in this journey of Salvation.
In the first place, we are told that the Just shall live by faith.
Who are the Just?
They are the Righteous who are determined to live to please God.
What is Faith then?
I give you my own simple definition.
Faith is waiting patiently for what you are trusting God for, no matter how long it takes.
The journey of faith is not an easy one.
The other day, I listened to a lady whose child was very ill. She laid the child at the Altar, and she told God that she knows that her daughter was going to be healed, but if for any reason God decides to call her daughter home, she will still love and serve Him. Today her daughter is alive hale and hearty.
How Does This Work?
See with your spiritual eyes what your desire is. Believe you must have it. Then begin to confess it regularly, trusting God to have it and in a way that only God knows, you will have what you desire.
In Genesis 22vs17, when God promised Abraham that his children will be as numerous as the sand and stars both he and his wife Sarah were very old. Today you and I are children of Abraham.
If it came to pass for Abraham, if you are Just, whatever is God's will for your life will come to pass in Jesus name.
Delay is never denial and God makes everything beautiful in His own time.
Ecclisiatis 3vs11.
Beloved if you are not yet surrendered to the Lord Jesus, you can't have what it takes to live to please God and be called The Just. Do so now, so that your name will be in the Book of Life as The Righteous.
Do not be decieved, God knows those that are His.
God alone is my Source of health, love, peace, joy, and strength.
MEMORY VERSE
Hebrews 11:23
[23] By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.
PRAYERS
Eternal Rock of Ages, I put my total trust in You knowing that You can never lie fail, nor change in Jesus name. Amen.
